  • Gluten is a protein found in wheat, barley and rye.
  • Avoid oats. Oats do not have gluten but are processed along with wheat; therefore, are contaminated with gluten. 

Who should not eat gluten?

  • People with Celiac disease, an autoimmune disease.
  • People with gluten allergies
  • People with gluten intolerance who have GI symptoms when eating gluten
