Symptoms
Monitor vital signs and fluid status
Daily weight
Evaluate laboratory values: serum albumin, creatinine, BUN, electrolytes, and urine protein
Monitor for fluid overload and electrolyte imbalances
Administer diuretics & corticosteroids
Ensure adequate protein and calorie intake
Limit sodium intake to prevent edema
Plama expanders such as salt-poor albumin for severe edema
