Slowing down the loss of function:
- Keeping blood sugar wnl
- keeping BP wnl
- Avoid meds such as NSAIDs
- No smoking
- Avoid tests with contrast dye.
Stages of kidney failure.
The risk that CKD will progress to kidney failure is greater when there is more Albumin in the urine. Green is the lowest risk and red is the highest risk.
