About Me

Dual Mater's Degree

I have a master’s degree in nursing from UCLA. But what truly changed my view about the process of learning is my Master’s in Rhetoric and Composition.  It was during my studies in rhetoric and composition that I learned about scaffolding, a teaching process that helps students build up knowledge from simple to complex.  Notice that NCLEX questions are about paying attention to details.  If you don’t pay attention to the simple details, you will not learn to think the way the NCLEX expects you to think.   In my modules, I help you focus on the details by presenting content, then fast simple questions, and finally NCLEX-like questions and case studies.  Most students who do not pass the NCLEX the first time around, don’t pass because they did not study content.  They focused only on questions.  I like to use illustrations that are cartoon-like to make the process of studying for the NCLEX fun or at least less boring and tedious.  Finally, all of the “fast questions” in the modules are a simplified versions of questions found in popular NCLEX study sources.
